Background

ZAiKS is the largest collective copyright management organisation in Poland with over 100 years of experience, knowledge and tools. Every year they transfer to creators  remuneration due to them bringing together musicians, writers, visual artists and creators. As a society, they carry out wide-ranging social activities and are the largest patrons of art and culture in Poland.

Scope

As designer in Radost I worked almost exclusively for Zaiks communication. Work slowly shifted as organization agreed to begin rebranding process. Then I devised guidelines for established brad strategy and starting with sign I translated idea to almost every brand collateral: ID cards, merch, internal and external documents layout, web design and art direction for their magazine. Before and after rebranding I also design their ads working firstly on collage based illustration that shifted to simple cutout animation.

Outcome

We delivered modern identity alligned with society’s mission and self image. We designed brand ID, forms&documents, art directed new website with internal banking system and layout of quarterly magazine published by society. We’re also responsible for society’s communication and event design, provides them with print ads, event identities and SoMe content.

Angle

We based our strategy on every creative person’s shared value: imagination. Identifying society mission as protection, support and propagation of culture we directed them in society verbal indentity as striving for inspiration, but also underscoring ZAiKS’ unique position serving not only as arts incubator but also champion for protection of authors rights.
