Background

Władysław Hasior was one of the most outstanding Polish sculptors of the twentieth century. Branch of Tatra Museum in Zakopane serves as his archives and is responsible for artist legacy.

Scope

Project was led by Digital Ecology Institute(Jakub de Barbaro, Joanna Murzyn). My role was working with design outline made by Kuba: designing missing parts of user flow, responsive screens and interface corrections with guidance from Joanna.

Outcome

Project was structured as virtual exhibition concentrating on visual content with easy access to additional, detailed information. It features simple bot responding to prewritten questions as late artist; extensive archive of Hasior’s work and documentation of his life.

Website dedicated to Władysław Hasior’s art was created as part of a project aiming to organize, secure, digitize and promote the work of this outstanding artist, as well as to initiate further activities related to the development of subsequent parts of the archive and the dissemination of available works through exhibitions and publications.
