This book covers Janek Simon's work spanning globalization, political geography, artificial intelligence, financial speculation, DIY strategies, postcolonial theory in eastern Europe, and Polish identity. Published after his 2019 exhibition at Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art curated by Joanna Warsza, it follows his idea of synthetic folklore.
